iPad Multi-Touch Gestures

iOS 5 brought a couple of new multi-touch gestures for iPad that you may not have noticed quite yet.

Use four or five fingers to

swipe and bring up the multitasking bar

pinch to return to home screen

swipe left or right to switch between apps.

The secret is these only work on iPad 2. Also, they aren’t active by default, so you have to turn them on by going to Settings > General and scrolling down toward the bottom where it says Multitasking Gestures.
